Virginia D. Flack of Hale went to be with the Lord on May 31, 2014. She is survived by her two children, David (Kathie) Flack, and Deborah (Joe) Aho; seven grand children, eight great grand children, and her sister Florence Alma Belden Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver; her parents William and Ruby Stedman brothers Porter and James Stedman, and sister W. Jean Rix.
During World War II Virginia joined the Cadet Nursing Corps becoming a Registered Nurse. After the war ended she practiced her nursing profession for 25 years in Detroit for the Wayne County Juvenile Court. Upon retiring she was a Hospice care worker for many years. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, reading and gardening.
A memorial service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hale on Saturday June 21 at 12Noon. A Prayer Service will be held at The Christ Our King Church in Saline on Sunday June 22 at 12 noon.
