Waldemar James Westerberg

Waldemar James Westerberg age 82 passed away at Corewell Beaumount hospital on Wednesday July 10th 2025. Due to heart complications. 

Jim as he was called by family and friends, Graduated from Redford High School in 1961. After that he went into the United States Navy and served for four years, traveling to many places.

 James met and married Patricia Louise Malone in 1969 and had a wonderful 28 years of marriage where they had two daughters, Robin Kathleen Westerberg-Collins (Doug Collins) and Erin Patrice Westerberg-Roberts (Jason Roberts). Jim also had five grandchildren Gavin Collins, Austin Roberts, Ethan Roberts, Eriella Roberts and Lillian Gawecki to continue on his memory. James was succeeded in death by his father Yngve Hjalmar Westerberg and his mother Elsie Balla- Westerberg many years before.

James enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing Euchre. In the last decade or so he was able to enjoy fishing with his son-in-law Jason and his grandson Ethan. There will be a celebration of life gathering at a latter determained time.
