Wendy Marie Bunjik

Wendy Marie Bunjik, age 73, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2026, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family.

Wendy lived a life deeply rooted in family, love, and adventure. She was the cherished wife of Ivan, with whom she shared 52 beautiful years of marriage, building a legacy of devotion and shared memories. A devoted mother to Ivan and Terry (Jessica) and a loving grandmother to Kai, Landon, Nicholas and Joshua. Wendy is also survived by her four siblings, Pam, Larry (Marjie), Nancy (Peter), and Amy (Joe).

Her favorite moments were those spent with her family, especially at her absolute favorite place, KP Lake. Whether enjoying the peace of the water or gathering with loved ones, it was where her heart was happiest. Wendy was a lively spirit, possessing a great love for travel and looking forward to her exciting trips to the casino. Above all, her greatest treasures were her grandchildren, and she filled their lives with love and laughter.

She will be profoundly missed, but her vibrant legacy of love, family devotion, and spirited adventure will live on forever in their hearts. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Michigan Humane Society or the Diabetes Association of Michigan.
