William F. Hagedorn Age 91, August 19, 2015

Devoted husband of 67 years to the late Marie. Dear father of the late Bill (Lori). Loving grandfather to Kelly (Andrew) Jamison, Michael and Christopher. Adoring great-grandfather to Madelynn, Kinley, and Dominic. Dearest Uncle to his many nieces and nephews.

William was born to the late Fred and Helen (Krause) in Detroit, MI where he graduated from McKenzie High School. He was an Army veteran and flew sixty missions as a gunner during World War II. He and Marie married in 1947 and he treasured being a part of her very large family. He worked as a pattern maker for Ford Motor Company for 35 years and retired in 1983. He and Marie liked to travel and spend time with loved ones. He was a four-time cancer survivor and always spoke of how blessed he was. He will be remembered for his magnificent smile, devotion to family and generous heart.

A Memorial and Interment Service will be held for both William and Marie at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, MI at 11:30 am on Friday, October 2, 2015.

The family will continue the celebration of life at Will and Marie's home later that day from 6:00 pm. All are welcome to attend.
