Saunders, William, age 76 passed away Sunday, August 26, 2007 after a long battle with cancer. Beloved huband of Salome (Sally), dear father of Marjery, Lucy and Tony, he is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
William served as the mayor of Birmingham in the early 1970's. He was also known as the cofounder of the Birmingham Racquet Club. He was a life-time member of Christ Church in Cranbrook.
